Wish list Wednesday

I spent the afternoon re-living my childhood in the vintage section of etsy. I didn't find what I originally went looking for but I did find some things I remember from when I was little, that I would love to own again. I don't really like to think of my childhood as being 'vintage' though-I don't feel vintage!

Vintage Glider Rally

Last week we attended the Vintage Glider Rally in Bordertown S.A. Wow what a week! 10 days with nothing to do but relax. The Bordertown guys outdid themselves with their hospitality.
Michael and J.R. flew, Ben, Daniel, Amy and Nick drove around retrieving the gliders and laying the cables while Merryn and I sat in the sun and beaded.
The guys finished their week on a high with Michael winning two trophies and J.R. being presented with the books from the maker of his beloved Yellow Witch!We met so many amazing people with so many fascinating stories that I hope will be handed down and never forgotten.
God willing we will all meet again next year to share some more.
